Terms of Use

The service
QuickPics is an iPhone app that takes the photos from a camera connected by USB and uploads them to an album on a photo marketplace (Lumepic for now), with the names and options you choose. These terms cover the app and the QuickPics account. By signing in you accept them and the Privacy Policy.
Your account
Every plan needs a QuickPics account, created with Sign in with Apple or Google. You agree to give true details (name, phone, country of residence) and to keep them up to date in Settings → Account → Your details. The account is personal: one account per photographer.
You are responsible for what happens with your account and your iPhone. The app has its own PIN and Face ID to protect it.
Plans and payments
- Lite is free. When a coverage starts it may show a short ad; never during the coverage.
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) bought through the App Store, sometimes with a free trial. Apple charges it, renews it and refunds it under its own terms; you cancel it in the iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Pro can also be given to you by QuickPics (for example, an invitation) for a set time.
- Prices and what each plan includes may change; a change applies to the next renewal, never to a period already paid.
Your photos and the marketplace
Photos go from your iPhone straight to your marketplace account and never pass through QuickPics. Your use of the marketplace is under its own terms. You confirm that you have the rights to the photos you upload and to the marketplace account you connect, and that you may publish them.
QuickPics uploads, names and publishes as you set it, but it does not decide what is published: check your album. Keep your originals on the card until the event is closed.
Acceptable use
Do not use QuickPics to break the law or someone else's rights, to upload content you are not allowed to publish, to overload or attack the service, or to access it other than through the app.
Availability
Uploads depend on things outside QuickPics: the camera, the cable, the iPhone, the network and the marketplace. We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, QuickPics is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, lost photos or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if that happens we will tell you why at the account's email.
Changes
When these terms change, the app asks you to accept them again the next time you sign in. The date at the top shows the version.
