Privacy Policy

In short

QuickPics keeps the minimum to run your account and to measure how uploads work. Your photos never pass through QuickPics: they go from your iPhone straight to your marketplace. We do not sell your data.

What the account keeps

AccountYour email and the Apple or Google identifier you signed in with; first name, last name, phone, country of residence and, if you add it, your Instagram user; when you accepted the terms.
SessionsOne entry per signed-in iPhone (its model), with when it expires. Never the token itself, only a fingerprint of it.
GearThe bodies and lenses in your photos' EXIF: make, model, serial number, firmware, and how many photos each combination took.
CoveragesOne summary per coverage: start and end, marketplace, photos uploaded and failed, size, upload times and speed, Wi-Fi or cellular share, retries, the iPhone model, iOS and app version.
Event locationThe postal code, city and country of each coverage, so we can measure uploads there. It is on by default; turn it off in Settings → Account → Share the event's city. The GPS coordinates never leave the iPhone.
NetworkThe country of the connection and the name of the internet provider, worked out when the summary arrives. The IP address itself is never stored.
SubscriptionFor Pro bought in the App Store: Apple's transaction number, plan, status, store country, price, currency and dates.

What we never keep

What stays only on your iPhone

The photos waiting to upload, the thumbnails, the debug log, each upload's measurements (deleted after 7 days on Pro, 3 on Lite), your marketplace session, and your PIN (as a fingerprint).

Why we use it

Who else is involved

How long

While your account exists. Sessions end after 90 days without opening the app. When you delete the account, everything about it is deleted from our database.
